HAKAN YILMAZER received B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer engineering from Mersin University, Mersin, Türkiye, in 2003, and in 2013, a Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from Çukurova University, Adana, Türkiye, in 2022. He began his career as a lecturer in 2003 and worked as a software engineer at Mersin University from 2008 to 2017. He is a software engineer in the Department of Information Technologies at Çukurova University. His research interests include recommender systems, natural language processing, and deep probabilistic models.

SELMA AYŞE ÖZEL received B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer engineering from Bilkent University, Ankara, Türkiye, in 1996 and 2004, and an M.S. degree in industrial engineering from Uludağ University, Bursa, Türkiye, in 1999. From 1999 to 2004, she was a Research Assistant at Bilkent University Computer Engineering Department. Since 2007, she has worked at Çukurova University, Adana, Türkiye. She is a Professor of Computer Engineering in the Department of Computer Engineering at Çukurova University. Her research interests include text mining, data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, database systems, information retrieval systems, and nature-inspired computing, and their applications to problem-solving in several disciplines. She has published more than 100 scientific papers in international and national journals/conferences reflecting her research interests.
