Elliot Hu-Au earned, from the University of California, Berkeley, a BA in Astrophysics and a Minor in Education (2003) and, from Teachers College, Columbia University, an Ed.D in Instructional Technology and Media (2023). He is now an Assistant Professor of Computer Science Education at Montclair State University, jointly appointed in the School of Computing and the Department of Teaching and Learning. His work in immersive learning technologies and STEM education continues in the Hu-Au XR Lab at MSU. His research interests include virtual reality, mixed reality, STEM education, and STEM visualization.
