Xingbao Wang earned a
Ph.D. in Dynamic Meteorology (2000) from the Nanjing University. He is
the Associate Chief Designer of the Numerical Forecast System at
NewSky Technology Co. Beijing. He has in-depth knowledge and understanding of
numerical weather prediction. His work in dynamic meteorology and
numerical weather prediction has resulted in more than 50
publications, presentations, lectures, and courses. His research interests
include numerical weather prediction, data assimilation, quantitative
precipitation forecasting, and numerical simulation of tropical cyclones.
