Prof. Xing Xu is a professor at the School of Information and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University of Science and Technology. He is also the executive director of the Logistics Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineers and the executive director of the Zhejiang Agricultural Machinery Engineering Society. He has visited Germany, South Korea, Finland, and other countries for academic exchanges and visits. From January 2017 to January 2018, he worked as a visiting scholar at Aalto University in Finland for one year. He was hired as a visiting professor by Finland and participated in the EU "Horizon 2020" project of his research team. He is mainly engaged in research in the fields of intelligent perception and computing, intelligent transportation and logistics, intelligent robots, neural networks, and deep learning.
Prof. Yun Zhao is a professor at the School of Information and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University of Science and Technology. She received her Ph.D. in Engineering from Zhejiang University. She was a visiting scholar at the University of Reading in the UK in 2006 and at the University of Florida in the US from 2018 to 2019. She is the head of the Artificial Intelligence major at the School of Information and Electronic Engineering. Her research interests include artificial intelligence; computer vision and pattern recognition; and intelligent transportation big data. In addition, she is also a reviewer for important international SCI journals, a reviewer for the National Foundation and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, a member of the IEEE, a member of the ASABE, a director of the Zhejiang Agricultural Machinery Society, a member of the Mechatronics and Biorobotics Branch of the ASABE Society, and a member of the Specialty Crop Engineering Branch.
