Ritu Agarwal is an Assistant Professor at the Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, Rajasthan. She holds M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, India. She was awarded Junior Research Fellowship and Senior Research Fellowship from CSIR, India. Her research interests are in complex analysis, fractional calculus, geometric function theory and mathematical modeling. She is a Life Member of several professional bodies including the Indian Mathematical Society, Ramanujan Mathematical Society and Indian Science Congress Association, an affiliate member of the American Mathematical Society (AMS). In addition to her research, Dr. Agarwal contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for MathSciNet and many SCI/SCOPUS-indexed journals. She has guided more than 24 M.Sc. dissertations and 8 Ph.D. students. Dr. Agarwal has a prolific publication record, with more than 80 research papers published in journals of repute. She has successfully completed one NBHM (DAE) and two TEQIP-III-funded research projects in her area of specialization. She has authored various textbooks on engineering mathematics, including Discrete Mathematical Structures, Mathematical Modeling and Soft Computing in Epidemiology (Taylor and Francis), and Modeling Calcium Signaling: A Fractional Perspective (Springer).
Pooja Airan, MSc, JRF(NET), is currently a research scholar in the Department of Mathematics at the Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, India and pursuing her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Ritu Agarwal. She is working in the area of mathematical modeling and fractional calculus. She has published one research paper, and one book chapter and presented papers in a few conferences.
