Dr. Jimi Francis is currently
working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas, San Antonio, TX,
USA. She holds a Ph.D. in Nutrition from the University of California, Davis, CA,
USA in 2003. From 2014–2017, she was a Lactation Consultant at the Christus
Trinity Mother Frances Hospital, Tyler, TX, USA. From 2015–2019, she served as
a Trainer at the Advanced Lactation Management, Texas Department of Health and
Human Services, Austin, TX, USA. She received the 2017–2019 Outstanding
Achievement Award from the Faculty and Staff Publications, University of Texas
at Tyler. Her Research Interests focus on food; children; maternal/infant
health.
