Cevat Tosun, Ph.D. is the Director of the MS Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management Program; Eisenhower Chair; and professor of tourism studies and management at the Department of Management, School of Business, the George Washington University (GWSB), USA. His research interests include tourism impacts, sustainable tourism development, community participation, destination development, and destination marketing. He has been recognized in the top 2 percent of the most-cited scientists in the world by research at Stanford University since 2020 and as the most cited and influential author in community participation in tourism in 2023.
Sinan Uslu graduated from Erciyes University, Department of Tourist Guidance. He completed his master's degree in tourism management. He continues his doctoral studies in the same field. He has written articles and papers on sustainable tourism, faith and cultural tourism, and tourism guidance. He is presently working as a research assistant at Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Tourism.
