He Meng is a Professor and the Head of Department of Animal Science, College of School of Agriculture and Biology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He obtained a B. S. at Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, Huhhot, P. R. China from 1982.9 to 1986.7 in Animal Science, an M. S. at Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, Huhhot, P. R. China from 1986.9 to 1989.7 in Animal Genetics and Breeding and a Ph.D. at Northeast Agricultural University, Harbin, P.R. China from 1999.9 to 2002.7 in Animal Genetics & Breeding. He was a Visiting scholar at TNO Quality of Life, Netherlands Organisation for applied scientific research, Netherlands in 2010, a Visiting scholar at Virginia Tech, USA in 2007 and 2011, a Lecturer at Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities, P. R. China from 1989 to 1998 and an Associate Professor at Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities, P. R. China from 1998 to 2002.
