Dr. Liliana Lara Capistran graduated
with a professional doctoral degree from the Instituto Potosino de
Investigación Científica y Tecnológica (2008–2012). He currently works at the
Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas, Universidad Juárez del Estado de Durango.
Jorge does research in interaction Plant-Microbe, Botany, Molecular Biology and
Microbiology. Their current project is 'Characterization of plant
growth-promoting rhizobacteria isolated from Chihuahuan desert area plants'. His research interests
include debaryomyces hansenii, stenotrophomonas rhizophila, and ulvan as
biocontrol agents of fruit rot disease in muskmelon (Cucumis melol).
