Dr. Yucong Pan is an associate professor at the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture at Wuhan University. He has a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from the Wuhan Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His main research areas include the mechanisms of high-efficiency rock breaking of TBM in deep composite formations and the prediction of excavation performance of TBM in deep composite formations.
