Prof. Dr. Lei Huang received his PhD from South China University of Technology in 2009. He visited the University of Washington (Seattle) as a PhD student in 2007-2008. From 2010 to 2012, he served as a postdoctoral fellow at the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Since 2013, he has worked as
an associate professor at the Nanoscience and Technology Research Center at Shanghai University. His research interests focus on the controllable fabrication of nanomaterials for
environmental catalysis (e.g., plastics upcycling) and gas sensor applications. He has published more than 70 papers in Angewandte Chemie International Edition, The Journal of Catalysis, Applied Catalysis B, etc., with more than 4000 citations.
