Xiaoyan Zhang received her PhD degree from Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. Since then she joined the group of Prof. Wolfgang Meier in University of Basel, Switzerland as a Postdoctoral Research. Her research focused on the reconstitution of natural membrane proteins into biomimetic polymer membranes and their functional applications. Afterwards since 2016 she was granted with SNSF Postdoc.Mobility fellowship and Marie Curie individual fellowship to do research in Leiden University. Currently she is a full professor of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Capital Medical University. Prof. Her main research interests are focused on 2D material based field effect transistors and nanopore sensors.
Prof. Wangyang Fu obtained his doctorate at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2009. From May 2015 to October 2018, he served as a Veni scholar at the Institute of Chemistry at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Since December 2018, he has been serving as an associate professor at the School of Materials Science, Tsinghua University. He has been a recipient of the Dutch Veni Fund. His research areas include nanoelectronics, biochemical sensors, highly sensitive single-molecule detection, and functionalized nanoelectronic devices.
