Dr. Giovanna Geraci is a specialist in cardiology. In 1992, she graduated in medicine and surgery at the University of Palermo, and in 1997, she obtained a specialization in cardiology from the same institution. She has been Medical Director of the first level at Hospital G. Giglio di Cefalù and currently holds the role of I-level Medical Director at the Azienda Ospedali Riuniti Villa Sofia—Cervello, as well as being a professor at cardiological conferences in Italy and Scientific Director of intracorporate courses in the field of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Furthermore, she is currently a member of the National Association of Hospital Cardiologists (ANMCO) and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC). She is mainly involved in ischemic heart disease, high blood pressure, cardiovascular prevention, echocardiography, and heart failure, and she devotes particular interest to cardiovascular prevention and women's health.
