Miguel Afonso Sellitto is a professor and researcher at the PPG in Production and Systems Engineering, shared with the PPG in Accounting Sciences at the School of Management and Business. He graduated in Electronic Engineering with a Master's and Doctorate in Production Engineering. He worked for twenty-two years as an engineer in large companies in the region, such as Grupo Gerdau, Copesul, and Grupo Votorantim. He has been a professor at the Unisinos Polytechnic School for twenty years. He has been an external collaborator at Unimore's PhD School (Italy) for the past year, working on his PhD in Industrial Innovation Engineering. Outside of engineering, his main interest is medieval studies.
