Hananel Hazan earned a BS in Computer Science from Ashkelon College and an MSc and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Haifa in 2014. He is now a Research Scientist at the Levin Lab, Allen Discovery Center at Tufts University. His work in biologically inspired computing and neurocomputation has resulted in numerous publications, presentations, lectures, and courses; memberships, including affiliations with the Network Biology Research Laboratories at Technion and the BINDS lab at the College of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst; and various academic and research honors. His research interests include biologically inspired computing, neuronal and non-neuronal computation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, emergent behavior from complex systems, learning with noisy information, and parallel computing.
