Alberto Nogales is a computer scientist with a master's in Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. His Ph.D. at Alcalá University (Spain) is focused on semantic web, machine learning, and social network analysis, developing skills as a data scientist. He has experience in European research projects and several scientific publications in conferences and 20 journals indexed as JCR (+15 as first author) earning six years of research. He also has worked at the University of Tokyo (Japan), the Technical University of Vienna (Austria), the Technical University of Tallinn (Estonia) and the University of Málaga (Spain). Since November 2017, he has been a researcher and lecturer at Francisco de Vitoria University (Spain) at the research institute CEIEC. In 2024, he was officially recognized as an associate professor by the official organism ANECA. His research is focused on deep learning and its application to fields like medicine.
