Dr. Ziyang Xiu is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the State Key Laboratory of Precision Welding & Joining of Materials and Structures, Harbin Institute of Technology. He is also a member of the Chinese Materials Research Society and the Chinese Composite Materials Research Society. He completed his BS, MSc, and PhD at the Harbin Institute of Technology in 1999, 2003, and 2008, respectively. He won the first prize of the provincial and ministerial science and technology progress in 2021, the second prize of the Henan Province science and technology progress in 2015, and the second prize of national technological invention in 2008. He is mainly engaged in the design, preparation, and application research of metal matrix composite materials.
