Dr. Antony Plait is currently a Post-Doctoral fellow in the ENERGIE department of the FEMTO-ST
Institute, affiliated with the CNRS and jointly with the University Bourgogne Franche-Comté. He obtained his PhD in 2019 at the Université Technologique de Belfort Montbéliard (UTBM), Belfort (France), with a focus on magnetic refrigeration and, in particular, multiphysics modeling. He received the RENAULT Internal Award (Direction Engineering Alliance–Innovation) in 2019 and the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (IEEE ICEMS) in 2021. His research focuses on modeling, analysis, and design in various fields such as magnetic refrigeration, eddy current losses in permanent magnets, and fuel cell systems.
