Prof. Dr. Songbai Zhang is a researcher at the Hunan Institute of Plant Protection and a Master's tutor at Hunan University and Shaoyang University. He received his Bachelor's degree from Hubei Agricultural College in 2001, his Master's degree from South China Agricultural University in 2004, and his Doctorate from Central South University in 2010. He mainly studies the molecular mechanism of the interaction between Solanaceae crop viruses and hosts.

Prof. Dr. Yong Liu is a doctoral supervisor at Central South University and Hunan Agricultural University. His main research area is plant protection. He is currently the secretary and second-level researcher at the Hunan Institute of Plant Protection. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in plant protection from Nanjing Agricultural University and graduated from Zhejiang Agricultural University with a Master's degree in July 1998.
