Prof. Dr. Junjie Zhang is a professor of mechanical engineering at the School of Mechatronics and Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, China. His research interests focus on ultra-precision machining technology and laser micromachining technology. He has granted 1 project of basic scientific research and 4 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 70 SCI papers with a H-factor of 29, edited 1 Springer monograph, and authorized 10 invention patents. He won the second prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education, the Hiwin Prize for Excellent PhD thesis, and the Outstanding Young Scientist Awards of ASPEN2017 and CJUMP2018. He served as a member of the Extreme Manufacturing Branch and Production Engineering Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. He is the editorial board member of International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing and Nanomanufacturing and Metrology, and associate editor of The Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part C: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science.
