Dr. Elsayed Nishawy is a Lecturer at the Laboratory of Genomics and Genome Editing, Department of Genetics, Desert Research Center. He completed his PhD studies in Molecular Biology of Pomology at the College of Horticulture and Forestry Science, Huazhong Agricultural University. He finished his postdoctoral research at the National Key Laboratory of Crop Genetic Improvement and National Center of Plant Gene Research (Wuhan), College of Life Science and Technology. His skills and expertise include Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Plant Physiology, Food Chemistry, Spectrometry, Gene Regulation, Food Analysis, and Plant Biology.
Dr. Yuepeng Han is a Professor at the Wuhan Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He completed his PhD studies in Crop Genetics and Breeding at Yangzhou University, Yangzhou, China, and finished his postdoctoral research at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, Urbana, IL, USA. He serves as an editorial board member of PLoS ONE and Associate Editor of Plant Molecular Biology Reporter and Canadian Journal of Plant Science. His professional specialties include fruit tree genomics, particularly genetic basis and molecular mechanisms of fruit quality.
