Qiang Wang is the Director of the College of Environmental Science and Engineering at Beijing Forestry University, China. He received his master’s degree from the Harbin Institute of Technology in 2005 and his PhD from the Pohang University of Science and Technology in 2009. From 2009 to 2011, he was a Research Fellow at the Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences, A*STAR. He won the Young Scientist Award (gold medal) from the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences in 2020 and was awarded the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China in 2022. His research interests include CO2 capture and utilization, environmental catalysis, functional materials, layered double hydroxide, and nanocomposites.
