Prof. Giriraj S Shekhawat currently serves as a
Professor and Dean (Research) EPSW at the College of Education, Psychology, and
Social Work, Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia. He is an internationally
recognized award-winning academic, mentor, keynote/TEDx speaker, and scientist.
He has a Ph.D. in Clinical Audiology from the University of Auckland, which
complements his outstanding international reputation for research and findings,
employing brain stimulation, sound therapies and hearing aids for tinnitus
management. He is also a senior fellow of HEA, HERDSA, and CMALT, and he has
diverse work experience spanning four continents and six countries (USA, UK,
Singapore, India, New Zealand and Australia), touching a plethora of cultural
communities with his impeccable knowledge along the way. Currently, he is
leading the International Discovery Research Grant funded by the Royal National
Institute for the Deaf (RNID), United Kingdom.
