Prof. Anbang Wen graduated from the Chengdu University of Technology with a B.S. degree in Geomechanics in 1988 and received his M.S. degree in Soil Science from the Chengdu Institute of Mountainous Region in 1999. He has served as a researcher and director of the Research Department of Chengdu Mountain Institute. He served as deputy director of Chengdu Mountain Institute from 2011 to 2016 and has served as director since 2016. Since 1992, he has presided over and undertaken several national and local key projects. He has long been engaged in research on soil and water conservation and
desertification control.
