Dr. Mehdi Lamssali is a Water Quality Specialist at the Department of Environmental Quality and recently completed his PhD in Environmental and Energy Science at North Carolina A&T State University. Holding a master's degree in Civil Engineering, Dr. Lamssali has published in the areas of environmental remediation and sustainable water management. His research interests include advancing environmental biotechnologies, novel water and wastewater treatment methods, enhancing water quality resilience, and developing sustainable resource management strategies. As an active member of several professional societies, Dr. Lamssali has been recognized with awards such as the Outstanding Senior Graduate Teaching Assistant Award, underscoring his commitment to educational excellence.
