Dr. Dimitrios Kateris is an Associate Researcher (Grade B’) at the Institute for Bio-Economy and Agri-Technology (iBO) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). In 2015, he received his Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for his dissertation on “Intelligent system for fault diagnosis in agricultural tractor mechanical subsystems”. Additionally, he holds an MSc in Agricultural Engineering and Water Resources from the same University (2009) and two BSc in
Hydraulics, Soil Science, and Agricultural Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2006) and Technological Educational Institute of Thessaly (1999), respectively. His research interests lie mainly in agricultural robotics, artificial intelligence in agriculture, digital agriculture, agricultural engineering,
decision support systems (DSSs), operations management, information systems and machine learning.
