Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dennis Rödder is a Curator of Herpetology at the Zoologisches Forschungsmuseum Alexander Koenig, Leibniz Institute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Change. He received his Diploma and Ph.D. from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn in 2006 and 2009, respectively, and has been an Assoc. Prof. (Privatdozent) since 2023. From 2009 to 2010, he was a Research post-doctorate and project coordinator at Trier University. From 2011 to 2015, he was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Utah State University. From 2010 to the present, he has been an honorary Professor at the Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz. His research interests include Taxonomy, faunistics, aut- / synecology, diversity patterns, evolution, and conservation, with a special focus on Macroecology/Species Distribution Modelling.
