Dr. Sanzhen Liu received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Xiamen University in China and Ph.D. from Iowa State University on genetics with a minor in statistics. He is now a professor of plant genomics at the Department of Plant Pathology at Kansas State University. His lab research combines genetics, molecular biology, and computational biology to study maize, wheat, and pathogens.
