Adel Diab Mohammed Kotb
is an Associate Professor of Applied Geophysics at Helwan University, Egypt. He
received a Bachelor of Science from Assiut University in 2001, a Master of
Science from Al-Azhar University in 2007, and a Doctorate in Geophysics from
Ain Shams University in 2013. Among Dr. Adel Kotb's many areas of expertise in
geology and geophysics are water resource management, mineral exploration,
thermal processes, geophysical data modeling, geoelectric, magnetic, seismic,
and geographic information systems (GIS). He has worked in applied geophysics
for over 22 years and is a very driven researcher. Numerous research
initiatives have benefited from Dr. Adel's work at Egypt's Desert Research
Centre and Helwan University. As a seasoned research supervisor for students
pursuing doctorates, Master's degrees, and undergraduate degrees, Dr. Adel has
extensive experience teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He
is committed to furthering his career and is eager to take on challenges in a
professional setting via collaboration with research teams both locally and
internationally.
