My name is Chau Thi Da, Ph.D. I completed my MSc degree in Aquatic and Aquaculture Resources Management from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand (2007), and my PhD degree in Aquatic Animal Nutrition and Management from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Sweden (2012). Currently, I am a senior lecturer/researcher at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Ton Duc Thang University, HCMCTY, Vietnam. My major expertise is aquaculture nutrition and environmental and ecosystem services management for sustainable agriculture/aquaculture production. I am a former Head of the Aquaculture Department at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Vice Director of the Research Center of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vice Head of International and Research Management, and Head of External Relationships at An Giang University, Vietnam. Recently, I have conducted many research projects at different national and international levels. I have published about 35 international articles in high-ranking journals (ISI, ISCIE), H-Index: 16, recorded by Web of Sciences. Dr. Håkan Berg is an associate professor at the
Department for Physical Geography at Stockholm University. He has a
professional background in aquatic ecology, ecotoxicology, and natural resource
management. Dr Berg has worked with research and management of aquatic
resources in tropical countries for more than 30 years in Africa, Asia, and
Central America. He finished his PhD in aquatic ecotoxicology at the Department
of System Ecology at Stockholm University in 1996 and became an associate
professor at the Royal Institute of Technology in 2004, where he was a senior
lecturer in ecology and environmental sciences. Dr. Berg has conducted research
on the sustainable management of wetlands in Southeast Asia for 20 years, with a
specific focus on the impact of pesticides and aquaculture on biodiversity and
ecosystem services. His current research focuses on the relationship between
humans and the environment and how these interlinked systems can be designed to
provide options for sustainable livelihoods and food production. The research
is based on projects in Southeast Asia (Vietnam), Africa (Tanzania), and Southern
Europe (Greece).
