Dr. Takashi Azuma is an Assistant Professor at Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University, Japan. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Kyoto University. His researches are focused on the occurrence and environmental fate of pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) and antimicrobial-resistant bacteria (AMRB) in the water environment, investigation and risk assessment of hospital effluent and development of advanced water treatment systems to assess effective water management in river basins.
