M. Zahangir Kabir is a full professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 1994 and 1996, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2005. His research interests include charge carrier transport mechanisms and phenomena in semiconductor materials and devices with applications to optical and X-ray detectors, field effect transistors, lasers, graphene, CNTs, and solar cells. He has authored or co-authored more than 65 refereed journal papers.
