She has a degree in Nursing from the State University of Londrina (1999), as well as a Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology (2004) and a Doctorate in Public Health (2013) both from the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho"—Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu. She has also obtained a professorship atthe State University of Campinas (2021). She is an associate professor at the Universidade Estadual Paulista—Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu—Department of Nursing, where she works in teaching, research, management, etc. She is a Teacher of the Nursing discipline in the Surgical Center, Curricular Internship, Tutor of the Multidisciplinary Residency in Adult and Elderly Health, which was accredited in a Master's academic program and a Doctorate in Nursing. She is also the leader of the research group registered with CNPq—Technologies and Innovation for Nursing Care and Education, as well as a coordinator of the Postgraduate Nursing Program—Masters and Professional Doctorate. She has experience in the healthcare field, with an emphasis on perioperative nursing. Lastly, she carries out research on the following themes: perioperative nursing, health literacy, and the nursing care process.
