Prof. Jixia Zhao earned her Master’s degree in soil and water conservation and desertification control from Southwest Forestry University in 2015, and her PhD degree in soil science from Chengdu Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2018. Since September 2018, she has been an Associate Professor at the College of Resources and Environment, Yunnan Agricultural University. Her research mainly focuses on the study of soil evolution and soil erosion and water loss on sloping farmland.
