W. David Pan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at
the University of Alabama in Huntsville, USA. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. He is a senior member of IEEE. His research areas include Data Compression, Machine Learning, Signal and Image Processing, and Quantum Computing.
