Dr. Yu Peng currently serves as an associate professor at the State
Key Laboratory of Oil and Gas Reservoir Geology and Exploitation, Southwest
Petroleum University, Chengdu, China. He graduated from Southwest Petroleum
University with a doctorate in oil and gas field development engineering in
December 2018. Dr. Peng mainly engaged in research on rock mechanics, heat
transfer, fracture mechanics, rheology, interdisciplinary application of
mathematical theory, and numerical simulation technology related to oil and gas
field production enhancement theory and technology. He has published more than
30 papers in well-known national and international academic journals, including 23
papers indexed by SCI, 6 papers in EI journals, 2 published monographs, and
22 authorized invention patents. His main research areas include oil and gas
field production enhancement and transformation.
