Associate Prof. Dr. Tongde Chen is a researcher at the Qinghai Minzu University, Qinghai Province, China. He graduated from Northwest A&F University, majoring in soil and water conservation and desertification control. His research interests include soil erosion, land evaluation, land degradation, soil quality, alluvial fan landform and so on.
Prof. Dr. Juying Jiao is a Researcher at the Northwest A&F University, Yangling, China. She obtained her PhD in agricultural water and soil engineering from the Northwest A&F University in 2000. In 2002, she participated in a group training course in Irrigation Water Resources in Arid & Semi-arid Regions and EIA for Sustainable Development at the Faculty of Agriculture and Arid Land Research Center, Tottori University. Her research interests are studying rainfall erosivity, erosion sediment features, sediment discharge, the benefit of soil–water conservation measures, prediction of soil loss, mutual dynamic responding between vegetation restoration and soil evolvement, seed ecology, and vegetation restoration under soil erosion environment.
