Dr. Cédric Stéphane Tekouabou Koumetio is
currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Sciences and
Educational Technologies of the Higher Teaching Training College of the
University of Yaoundé 1 in Cameroon. He was a Research scientist and a PostDoc
Researcher at the Center of Urban System (CUS) of the Mohamed VI Polytechnic
University (UM6P), Ben Guerir 43150,
Morocco from 2020 to 2023. He is also an associate professor at the EIGSI
Engineering School of Casablanca since 2020. He received his Ph.D. in September
2020 from the Faculty of Sciences, Chouaib Doukkali University, El Jadida,
Morocco. He obtained his State Engineering degree in 2016 from the National
School of Applied Sciences of El Jadida (ENSAJ) of the same university. His research
interests include computer vision (pattern recognition, detection, and
classification problems), artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep
learning, modeling and optimization, urban engineering, and educational
technologies.
Prof. Mohammed El Hassouni is currently a
Full Professor in computer science at Mohammed V University, where he is
affiliated with the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences and the LRIT
Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the
University of Burgundy, in 2005, and the Habilitation degree from Mohammed V
University, Rabat, in 2012. He joined Mohammed V University of Rabat as an
Assistant Professor in 2006. Since 2014, he has been the Co-Founder and the
Co-Chair of the Quality of Multimedia Services QUAMUS Workshop. He was the
Co-Chair of the “Multimedia, Computer Vision, and Image Processing” Track of
ACS/IEEE International Conference on Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)
2015 and 2016 and the third International Conference on Advanced Technologies
in Signal and Image Processing (ATSIP 2017). He was the Co-Chair of the COMBI
2017, ACMMIPH 2018, COMBI 2019, and CIVIA 2020 tracks of ACM-SAC. He is a
member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society, INNS Moroccan Chapter, and several
conference program committees. His research interests include the modeling and
analysis of ND images, visual quality assessment, complex networks, and deep
learning.
