Author Biographies

Gulsah Demirhan Aydin was born in Ankara, Turkey, in 1990. She received the B.S. (Hons.) degree from the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, Atılım University, Ankara, in 2012, and the M.Sc. degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, in 2016. She received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Micro and Nanotechnology, Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, in 2022. She worked as a Senior Researcher at the METU MEMS Research and Applications Center from 2012 to 2024. She has also been a part-time instructor in the Dept. of Mechatronics Engineering, Atılım University, Turkey, since February 2023. She has been working as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Başkent University Faculty of Engineering since February 2024. Her major research interests include the design, simulation, fabrication, wafer level packaging, testing, and integration of MEMS-based sensors, control systems, robotics, and automation.
