Prof. Dr. Jihwan Yoo is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Neurosurgery, Brain Tumor Center, Gangnam Severance Hospital, Yonsei University College of Medicine, Republic of Korea. He received his
B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2000, 2003, and 2008, respectively. Before becoming a research scientist, he worked as a post-doctoral fellow. He also worked as a research assistant and instructor in the Microwave Engineering and Electronics Laboratory.
Currently, he is a member of committees for master's and Ph.D. students and a research mentor for undergraduate students. His research focuses on radio frequency and microwave engineering, computational and experimental bioelectromagnetics, and the design of exposure systems at microwave in millimeter wave frequencies.
