Rotimi Boluwatife Abidoye is a Senior Lecturer in Property and Development as a faculty member of Arts, Design and Architecture at UNSW in Sydney, Australia. Before joining UNSW Sydney, he was a Research Associate/Teaching Assistant at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong, a Lecturer at the Bells University of Technology in Ota, Nigeria, and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Lagos in Nigeria. In the past, he has also worked in the real estate and banking industries in Nigeria. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees and the Endowment Scholarship at the University of Lagos. He was also a recipient of the prestigious Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme for his Ph.D. study at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research focus includes, but is not limited to, property valuation accuracy, real estate education, real estate practice, and theory and housing supply. He has published his research outputs in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and has presented some of his work at international conferences. He is a reviewer for several journals domiciled in the built environment. Rotimi Boluwatife Abidoye is a Chartered Valuation Surveyor (MRICS), a Certified Practicing Valuer (CPV) in Australia, an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (ANIVS), and a Registered Valuer (RSV) certified by the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria.
Professor Tak Wing Yiu received his B.Sc. (first-class honours) in Quantity Surveying at the City University of Hong Kong and his Ph.D. in Construction Management at the City University of Hong Kong. His major research interest is in the field of construction management, focusing on researching human behaviours from technology adoption, health and safety, contract management, ethics, and dispute resolution perspectives. He has recently started to research construction informatics, including virtual reality (VR), blockchain technology (BCT), and artificial intelligence (AI).
