Author Biographies

Jakub Michulek is currently working as a third-year internal doctoral student in the study field of economics and management at the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Management and Economics of Transport and Communications at the University of Žilina in Žilina. He completed his Bachelor's and Engineering Studies in the field of Economics and Management at the University of Žilina in Žilina. He currently works at the Department of Economics under the guidance of prof. Ing. Anna Križanová, CSc. His research is focused on the fields of pathological relationships in the workplace, marketing, and management.
Ľubica Gajanová is an assistant professor at the Department of Economics, University of Žilina, Slovak Republic. She completed her Ph.D. studies in Economics and Management of an Enterprise at the University of Žilina. She focuses in scientific and research activities on marketing management issues, primarily on marketing communication research, perception of corporate social responsibility and brand as value for the customer, customer relationship management, and competitive intelligence. She has published over 140 scientific articles in journals and international conference proceedings. Of them, 45 are indexed in Web of Science and 25 in SCOPUS. She is a member of the editorial boards and reviewer of several renowned indexed and impactful foreign journals.
Prof. Ing. Anna Križanová is professor at the the Department of Economics, University of Žilina, Slovak Republic. She is also 1st Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Education at University of Žilina. In scientific research, prof. Ing. Anna Križanová, CSc. focuses on marketing management, primarily on the field of service marketing, specifically on the analysis and identification of starting points for the creation and formation of the offer of service companies, brand policy, marketing price policy of companies, marketing communication policy of companies, and international marketing. She was the leader or member of dozens of domestic and foreign projects. She was and is a member of the scientific and editorial boards of several scientific conferences and journals.
Ing. Roman Blažek, Ph.D., serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Žilina. He commenced his academic journey at the same institution, earning a Bachelor's degree (Bc.) in 2018, a Master's degree (Ing.) in 2020, and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in 2023, all in the field of Economics. Throughout his career, he has gained valuable experience as a researcher at the University Science Park of the University of Žilina and as an intern at Deloitte Tax, s.r.o., in Žilina. His expertise and contributions to tax theory and practice have been recognized with the prestigious TAX ADVISERS AWARD, which he received in both 2020 and 2023 from the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors.
