Maysa A. R. Brandão-Rangel earned her PhD from the Federal University of São Paulo in the Rehabilitation Sciences and Human Movement Program and her Master's in Medicine from Nove de Julho University. She graduated in Physiotherapy from Faculdade do Clube Náutico Mogiano (1997-2000), with enhancement in Motor and Respiratory Physiotherapy at the State Public Servant Hospital (2000) and Hospital Enhancement at Santa Casa de São Paulo (2001). She earned her post-graduate in Pediatric Physiotherapy (2003-2004) from Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas de São Paulo and in Orthopedic and Traumatology Physiotherapy from Gama Filho University (2006-2007). Physiotherapist at Policlin Hospital (2001-2003), responsible physiotherapist at Fisiovale Clinic (2001-2009), working in the field of orthopedics and traumatology. Physiotherapist at Dr. José de Carvalho Florence Municipal Hospital (2009 until August 2016), working in the Adult ICU, Adult Ward, and Emergency Department, collaborator in weaning protocols, non-invasive mechanical ventilation, and tracheostomy weaning. Member of the Pulmonary Immunology and Exercise Laboratory (LABPEI) in São José dos Campos. Dr. Boris Brill is in private practice as a personal family doctor, currently working at Ramat Aviv Medical Center. He is the official doctor of the Bellator organization. He received his higher-profile education at the State Medical Academy in Krasnoyarsk (Russia). He studied from 1995–2001. He worked at the Shaare Zedek clinic in Jerusalem for some time. Renilson Moraes-Ferreira is an Occupational Safety Technician from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará (2015). He graduated in Physical Education from the State University of Pará (2018), and had a scientific initiation at the Resistance Exercise and Health Laboratory (LERES) and Exercise Biochemistry Laboratory (Labex) from 2015 to 2018. Anamei Silva-Reis graduated in Physical Education from the University of the State of Pará (UEPA 2015-2018), earned a Master's degree in Human Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP 2019-2021), and has a PhD in progress in the Postgraduate Program in Human Movement and Rehabilitation of the Evangelical University of Goiás - UniEVANGÉLICA. During her undergraduate studies, she was a member of the Exercise Biochemistry Laboratory (LABEX) and the Resistance Exercise and Health Laboratory (LERES), both with an emphasis on Parkinson's Disease. Prof. Dr. Patricia Sardinha Leonardo is a Full Professor of the Postgraduate Program (Masters and Doctorate) of Human Movement and Rehabilitation at the Evangelical University of Goiás. She is a Researcher in Elderly Health and Regenerative Therapies using Photobiomodulation and Electrophysical Agents. She has a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Vale do Paraíba (2003), a master's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Vale do Paraíba (2005), a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Mogi das Cruzes, UMC and has worked as an Associate Researcher at the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of Bergen, Norway. She carries out research in the areas of Dermato-functional Physiotherapy, aesthetics, and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, especially for inflammatory joint and tendon diseases in the area of Laser therapy and LEDs.
Dr. Claudio Ricardo Frison is currently a doctor at the Specialty Medical Outpatient Clinic of São José dos Campos and a member of the State Health Department of São Paulo. He holds a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1991) and a PhD in Medicine (Pneumology) from the Federal University of São Paulo (2002). His research interests include health Sciences and medicine, and he is responsible for the Pulmonology Service and Lung Function Test.
Katia De Angelis has a degree in Physical Education from Instituto Porto Alegre and in Biological Sciences: Bachelor's degree in Physiology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Master's and Doctorate in Biological Sciences: Physiology from UFRGS and a Post-doctorate at the InCor Hypertension Laboratory. HC-FMUSP and Wright State University (WSU). In 2006, they were a Visiting Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio, USA (FAPESP Research Abroad Scholarship). She is currently a Full Professor in the Department of Physiology, Institutional Research Coordinator-ProPGpq and advisor for the PPG in Translational Medicine at UNIFESP and advisor for the PPG in Rehabilitation Sciences at Universidade Nove de Julho (UNINOVE). They have experience in the area of Cardiorespiratory and Exercise Physiology, working mainly on the following topics: physical exercise, autonomic control of circulation, aging, diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, and menopause. Prof. Dr. Rodolfo P Vieira is currently director of the Brazilian Institute of Teaching and Research in Pulmonary and Exercise Immunology (IBEPIPE). He is the coordinator of LABPEI, which is the functional arm of IBEPIPE, developing clinical and experimental research work focusing on the cellular and molecular immunological aspects involved in both the pathophysiology of lung diseases and the effects of physical exercise in lung diseases. He graduated in Physical Education (1998-2001), a Master's degree in Biological Sciences (2001-2003), PhD in Pathology (CAPES Scholarship, Faculty of Medicine USP 2004-2007), and a Post-doctorate in Physical Activity and Pulmonary Immunopathology (FAPESP Scholarship, Faculty of Medicine USP 2008-2009), Post-doctorate in Asthma Immunology (Deutsche Forchungsgemeinschaft Contract 2009-2010) from Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg, Germany, and a Post-doctorate in Physical Activity and Pulmonary Immunopathology (European Respiratory Award Scholarship Society/Marie Curie Foundation/European Union 2010-2011).
