Author Biographies

Lilin Jiang received her Bachelor of Agriculture degree from Guangling College of Yangzhou University in 2022 and is now a graduate student at the School of Resources and Environment at Anhui Science and Technology University, studying for a Master's degree in Agriculture. Her research is mainly on Cyperaceae weeds, herbicides, and weed management.
Ke Chai received her Bachelor of Agriculture degree from Xinyang Agriculture and Forestry University in 2023 and is now a graduate student at the School of Resources and Environment at Anhui Science and Technology University, studying for a Master's degree in Agriculture. Her research is mainly on herbicide resistance and weed management.
Mujeeba Fida graduated with a degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Bahauddin Zakariya University in Multan in 2021 and is now a graduate student in the College of Agriculture at Anhui Science and Technology University, studying for a Master's degree in Agriculture. Her research focuses mainly on the resistance of Alopecurus myosuroides, herbicides, and weed management.
Bin Fang has been studying agronomy at Anhui Science and Technology University since 2021 and expects to receive a bachelor's degree in agronomy in 2025. Bin Fang has a strong interest in the impact of herbicides and field management systems in his academic research. He has actively participated in the college's scientific research projects, assisting the authors in collecting data and conducting statistical analysis of the experiment. Due to his active involvement, he is listed as one of the authors of the paper.
Kun Wang has been studying agronomy at Anhui Science and Technology University since 2021 and expects to receive a bachelor's degree in agronomy in 2025. In terms of academic research, Kun Wang has a strong interest in herbicides and abiotic stresses. He actively participates in the scientific research projects of the college and has assisted authors in the data collection and statistical analysis of thesis experiments. Due to his active participation, he was listed as one of the authors of this paper.
Prof. Dr. Yaling Bi, Ph.D., is a professor and visiting scholar at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), and a master’s supervisor. She is currently the director of the Plant Protection Department of the College of Agriculture at Anhui University of Science and Technology, secretary of the Party Branch of the Faculty, and head of the Plant Protection major. She is the director of the Anhui Provincial Agricultural Ecological Environmental Protection and Quality Safety Industry Technology System Experimental Station, a training target for young and middle-aged academic leaders at Anhui University of Science and Technology; the head of the Institute of Green Control of Crop Diseases, Pests and Weeds at the Anhui University of Science and Technology’s Institute of Serving Local Development; and the head of the plant protection platform. Her research directions and fields are herbicide toxicology and application technology, weed resistance, weed biological characteristics, and control technology. She has published more than 40 papers in SCI source journals and domestic first-level journals. She has authored one national invention patent, two software copyrights, and three utility model patents, and participated in the drafting of one local standard.
