Author Biographies

Zheng Pan received a B.Eng. degree in vehicle engineering from the Shanghai University of Engineering and Science, Shanghai, China, in 2014, and a M.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, in 2020. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in wheel-legged robotics and control with the School of Mechanical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include wheel-legged robots design and hybrid locomotion control.
Boyuan Li received a B.Eng. degree in vehicle engineering from Tsinghua University (THU), Beijing, China, in 2019. He is currently working toward a Ph.D. degree in wheel-track hybrid vehicle dynamics control with the School of Mechanical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China. His research interests include dynamics control and observation of tracked vehicles, wheeled vehicles, and wheel-track hybrid vehicles.
Shiyu Zhou received a B.Eng. degree in intelligent science and technology from Qingdao University, Shandong, China, in 2017, and a M. Sc. degree in robotics from the University of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K., in 2019. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in motion plan and control of multi-driving robots with the School of Mechanical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. His research interests include motion planning and control for hybrid driving robots and vehicles.
Shaoxun Liu received a B.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering from Dalian Maritime University (DMU), Dalian, China, in 2017, and a M. Eng. degree in automotive engineering from the Dalian University of Technology (DLUT), Dalian, China, in 2020. He is currently working toward a Ph.D. degree in control and observations of robots and vehicles with Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China. His main research interests include independent drive, servo-fault diagnosis, dynamics control, and observation in heavy-legged robots.
Shouyuan Chen received a B.Sc. degree in automotive engineering from Hefei University of Technology, Hefei, Anhui, China, in 2015, a M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Karlsruhe, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, in 2020. He is currently a doctor candidate in School of mechanical engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai China. His research interests include design, control and fault diagnosis of vehicles.
Rongrong Wang received a B.Sc. degree in automation from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2006, a M.Sc. degree in control science and engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2009, and a Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA, in 2013.He is currently a Professor with the College of Control Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, Zhejiang, China. His research interests include design, control, and fault diagnosis of vehicles and robotics.
