Prof. Umberto Lucia is a Professor of Thermal Physics at Politecnico di Torino, Italy. He holds a BS in Nuclear Physics at Turin University, Italy, an MS in Physics of Matter at Ferrara University, Italy, and a PhD in Energetics at Florence University, Italy. He is also a member of the Royal Chemical Society and the Società Italiana di Fisica. His topics of interest are irreversible thermodynamics, non-equilibrium thermodynamics, quantum thermodynamics, biophysics, thermodynamics of biosystems, and sustainability.
