Jesse Van Griensven Thé is the President of Lakes Environmental Software Inc. He has over 20 years of experience in thermal fluid flow and environmental simulations. He graduated from the University of Waterloo, receiving his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. He is the principal author of AERMOD View, CALPUFF View, IRAP-h View, and Emissions View, among others. He frequently consults for regulatory agencies in Canada, the United States, and abroad on topics related to complex air modeling projects. He is also a Professor at the University of Waterloo and the University of Guelph and has authored several commercial software guidance books and co-authored technical environmental books. He is a phenomenal lecturer who receives outstanding reviews from those attending his courses.
Dr. Bahram Gharabaghi is a Professor of Engineering in the School of Engineering at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. His research has primarily been focused on watershed-scale water quality models to improve the accuracy of calculations of these management tools for the protection of source waters from further degradation and to develop effective strategies for improvement of the quality of impaired water bodies in Ontario. He has more than twenty years of experience in research and development in hydrologic modelling and pollution control in Canada and internationally. Dr. Gharabaghi has co-authored over 250 peer-reviewed scientific articles. He is currently leading several research projects in partnership with various industry partners, municipalities, and conservation authorities, as well as Ontario's Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, and Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
