Professor Kaihui Hua is an associate professor at the School of Environment and Civil Engineering, Dongguan University of Technology, and a joint Master's degree tutor at South China Normal University and Guangdong University of Technology. She graduated from the Anyang Institute of Technology in 2010, obtained a Master's degree from Guizhou University in 2013, and a Doctorate from South China University of Technology in 2017. From 2017 to 2020, she served as a lecturer at the School of Ecological Environment and Architectural Engineering, Dongguan University of Technology, and was promoted to special associate professor in 2021. Her research areas include environmentally friendly porous ceramics, piezoelectric ceramics and sensors, water treatment, green building materials, and slag resource utilization. She is also the deputy director of the first youth editorial board of the journal entitled "Materials Research and Applications," a youth editorial board member of the journal entitled "Advanced Manufacturing," and a reviewer for journals such as "Ceramics International" and the "Journal of Advanced Ceramics."
Professor Anze Shui is a professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering of South China University of Technology. He received his Bachelor's degree in materials science from Nagaoka University of Technology in Japan in 1997, his Master's degree in materials science in 1999, and his Doctorate in materials science in 2002. From 2002 to 2005, he worked at Asahi Glass Co., Ltd., Japan; he has been working at South China University of Technology since 2005. He is a director of the Chinese Society of Particles, a director of the Special Ceramics Branch of the Chinese Silicate Society, a director of the Ceramic Branch of the Chinese Silicate Society, a director of the Testing Branch of the Chinese Silicate Society, and an editorial board member of the "Journal of Advanced Ceramics" and "Modern Technical Ceramics." His research directions include special ceramics, traditional ceramics, powder synthesis, and solid waste resource utilization technology, as well as functional ceramics, porous ceramics, green building ceramics, solid waste recycling, and powder synthesis.
Professor Yu Zheng is a professor at the School of Environment and Civil Engineering, at Dongguan University of Technology. He graduated from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2005, obtained a Master's degree from Shenzhen University in 2004, and obtained a Doctorate from Queen's University Belfast in 2008. He has been working at Dongguan University of Technology since 2008, and has served as a lecturer, laboratory director, professor, and vice dean/dean of the School of Ecological Environment and Architectural Engineering. Currently, he is also a member of the International Civil Engineering FRP Institute (IIFC), a member of the Fiber Composite Reinforced Concrete Working Committee of the International Structural Concrete Board (FIB), and a member of the Young Scholars Committee of the International Structural Health Monitoring Association (ISHMI). His research directions include the research, development, and structural application of ecological bamboo-wood composite materials, resource utilization of engineering waste, product development, etc.
