Zhijian Tan received his Ph.D. from Central South University in 2013. Currently, he is a scientist in the bast fiber membrane production position of the National Modern Agricultural Industry Technology System and the chief scientist of the “Development and Utilization of Biodegradable Materials” team of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences’ Science and Technology Innovation Project. He was selected for the “Young Talents” of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the “Outstanding Innovative Youth” training program of Changsha City. His main research directions are the preparation and application of green solvents such as new ionic liquids/deep eutectic solvents; the development and application of biodegradable membranes; green separation of active ingredients in food and natural products, etc. He has presided over more than 10 projects such as the National Bast Industry Technology System Position Scientist Project and the National Natural Science Foundation General Project. He has published more than 50 SCI papers, been authorized as the first author of 18 invention patents and won one Third-Class Hunan Provincial Natural Science Award as the first author.
Wei Fan received his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Central South University, in 2013. He is currently working as a lecturer and master’s tutor in the College of Food Science and Technology, Hunan Agricultural University. His research interests include complex system analysis and data mining, multi-omics analysis and development of intelligent analytical instruments. He is mainly engaged in instrumental analysis methods and chemometrics research on complex systems (food and agricultural products). In recent years, he has won one Third-Class prize of the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Award, published 18 SCI-included papers, and won six software copyrights.
Zhonghai Tang received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Engineering from Central South University in 2011 and his M.Sc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Hunan Agricultural University in 2006. From 2010 to 2013, he served as the deputy director of the Department of Bioengineering in the College of Bioscience and Technology, Hunan Agricultural University. From 2013 to 2015, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (Peking Union Medical College/Tsinghua University School of Medicine). He then finished his postdoctoral research in the School of Pharmacy, The Ohio State University, during 2015–2016. Currently, he works as a professor in the College of Food Science and Technology, Hunan Agricultural University, and as the deputy director of Hunan Engineering Technology Research Center for Rapeseed Oil Nutrition Health and Deep Development. He has published 49 scientific research papers, obtained 16 national invention patent authorizations, won one Third-Class Hunan Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress Award, two Third-Class Hunan Provincial Technological Invention Awards, and one Second-Class Hunan Provincial Teaching Achievement Award.
