Angelo Alberto Messina, Ph.D (male) graduated with an M.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering in 1997 from the University of Catania; he obtained his Ph.D. in “Advanced Technologies for Photonics and Opto-electronics and Electromagnetic Modelling” and an M.Sc. degree in Physics from the University of Messina. He is an appointed independent scientific evaluator for Regional, Italian and EU R&D&I funded programs and an invited speaker or reviewer or chair of many international scientific conferences, being the coauthor of international patents and fifty publications (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2762-6615). He was also appointed as the following: associated for research to CNR-IMM (from 2017 to 2023), special Issue Guest Editor of an international journal, Visiting Professor and Honorary Fellow of the Center for Surface Science and Nanotechnology of the Politehnica Bucharest University. Since 1999, he works in STMicroelectronics, being now a Portfolio Manager of European R&D&I Funded Projects, in the “Funding Programs Office” Department.
